Ana Lima, was born in 1975 in Faro, Portugal, and she is Psychologist since 2000, Specialist Psychologist in Clinical Psychology and Health and Educational Psychology and Advanced Specialization in Vocational Psychology and Career Development. She holds a MSc in Psychology, Specialization in Health Psychology. She is EMDR Psychotherapist and Life Coach.

Among the various activities, from 2001 to the present, she is a Psychologist with a private clinic in Algarve, Portugal: consultation on clinical psychology and health and psychology of education, in the area of childhood, adolescence and adulthood, areas psychotherapy, play therapy, psychological assessment, vocational guidance and conducting social and emotional leadership groups with parents and children.

 

Between 2002-2015 she was a Psychologist on a Non-governmental Organization in Faro, Portugal (G.A.TO), where She made interventions in the area of prevention, treatment and (re)integration of people addicted to licit and illicit drugs, and at the psychosocial level, counseling and psychological assessment, training of social and emotional skills and prevention of health and infectious diseases, to children and young people at risk and families, disadvantaged population, homeless and inmates.

 

She actively participated in more than 40 national and international congresses and workshops related to her expertise.
