Screaming Art International Group

The Screaming Art International Group is composed by international curators, established and emerging artists, some of which use art has a form of therapy and also two psychologists. The group is international, present worldwide, with nationalities from different countries and continents, namely Portugal, Netherlands, Brazil, Canada, Dubai, Germany, USA, Finland, Mexico, Sweden, China, United Kingdom, Argentina, Colombia, South Africa, Australia, Japan, etc.

The Group was born from an initiative by Fátima Sardinha, creator and main responsible for invitation of the artists to the group in close collaboration with the @Thescream_art Instagram page. From this collaboration were defined a set of specific group aims, which includes, between others, the sharing of experience between artists, independently of their background and international recognition; the development of art residences and in situ workshops for sharing ideas, techniques and search for solutions for existing barriers and; promote art as a way to overcome psychological problems and engage in initiatives toward this end.

The @Thescream_art is a dissemination vehicle where high quality art reposting is performed which allowed to establish a large network within the artists’ community.

The group exhibitions is one of the outcomes of the group, which gives the possibility to emerging artists to exhibit their artworks near well established and world recognised artists, but also allowing cross-continental possibilities to latest ones.
