Lixian Cai

Lixian Cai is a Chinese artists graduated from Guangzhuo Academy of fine Arts and completed a MA for the Arts in 2011. She works in the Digital Sculpture Research Center of Sculpture Department of Guangzhuo Academy of fine Arts

 

As an artist she has been committed to multi-disciplinary art experiments, including oil painting, sculpture, animation, multimedia, etc., especially good at digital media. She tries to blend traditional art and modern technology to test the possibility of contemporary art, explore cultural diversity and social responsibility. She once contributed outstanding talents to China's largest sculpture project "Mao Zedong in the Year of Emperor", and the plan was adopted and implemented by the State Council of China.
