Jeroen van Eijsden
Jeroen van Eijsden, is Dutch born in the harbor town of Rotterdam – The Netherlands in 1993.
The works he makes are mainly based off on intuition, music, self made texts and his mind. He often writes his own texts about his feelings, thoughts and problems and translates those into his paintings.
Because of his bipolar (manic depression), his works can often be very dark, showing the depressing side of being bipolar and all the struggles that come with it, such as: loneliness , addiction and other emotions.
He is a self-taught artist but has recently started taking art classes so he can learn more techniques and master them, learn from fellow artists in his class and his teacher (who is a renowned artist himself that inspires him a lot).
Jeroen's art comes straight from the heart, his deepest feelings, fears and desires. He also finds that being creative is a great way to relieve his emotion and clear his mind, putting the bad and good moods on a canvas and letting his emotions flow instinctively.
He aims to reach others with his art so they will feel less alone and hopefully more understood.
