Sofia Diogo

Sofia Diogo was born in Porto, Portugal. At the early age she realized that taking care of others would be her way and this purpose took her to the University of Minho where she graduated in psychology (October 1999).

The first professional step was taken in Italian lands where she participated as a young researcher, in a research study on bulling at the Università della Calábria.

Currently, she counts on with a long clinical experience with children, adolescents and adults. This experience was often acquired on a part-time basis because it is also linked to other projects: as a pedagogical coordinator in a professional school, in the area of human resources or as a coach in the behavioral area.

During this journey she decided to invest in specific training that would add knowledge and new tools to better serve her. That's how she completed her certification in NLP practioner and Master coach with NLP.

These certifications allowed her to bring to psychology a much more effective guiding line in changing behaviors and achieving potentializing results, in such a way that nowadays, she considers herself a "psychologist-coach" professional.

Since 2004, she has been developing contents in the cognitive-behavioral area essentially, helping business groups to achieve better results through self-knowledge and providing empowerment tools that engage changes. Other topics, that have significant impacts, are the practices of mindfulness, art therapy and conscious parenting.

She engaged herself in the adventure of publishing a book ("Essay on the Human Mind"). She dreamed one day that each of us could be our best friends, through the internal dialogues we have built. So she gave life to small stories, which are nothing more than simple internal dialogues where she uses coach and NLP tips with the purpose of helping the reader to change his internal speech.

She strongly believes in congruence and internal alignment and she tries to guide her growth as a person, having these truths as her main guidelines in her journey in life.

Her motto is simple and has been very effective with her: life is what we do with it!
